Starting point
We participated in the program “Klimaklar Produktionsvirksomhed” (in English: Climate Ready Production Company) offered by The Confederation of Danish Industry to get an overview of our carbon emissions. The program gave us the knowledge and tools necessary to calculate Hovmand’s carbon emissions and subsequently set reduction targets.
To achieve our sustainability goals, we have defined and planned a range of initiatives, which are structured according to ESG standards (Environmental, Social, and Governance).
Focus areas
At Hovmand, we aim to be a front-runner in the production industry and set ambitious sustainability goals that force us to rethink how we currently do business. This is manifested in three distinct focus areas:
