Warehouse & Assembly Worker

At Hovmand USA Inc, we are looking for a person to take on the newly created position as Warehouse & Assembly Worker. In this position, you will be responsible for assembling products according to specifications while also supporting general warehouse operations, including material handling, inventory organization, and order preparation.

This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Our US office is located in Naperville, IL, and we are excited to welcome a new colleague who shares our commitment to delivering high-quality products to our US customers.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and register incoming goods into ERP system
Pick and prepare materials for production orders
Assemble finished products according to specifications, drawings, and quality standards
Use forklift to unload containers and place pallets on racking
Pack products and spare parts for shipping, book freight, and load finished goods onto trucks
Invoice orders in ERP system
Match physical inventory to ERP system and make inventory order recommendations based on stock levels
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of parts and products

Your qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous assembly, manufacturing, and/or warehouse experience
Basic mechanical and technical aptitude
Problem-solving skills with a keen eye for details
Capability to drive a forklift
Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Familiarity with inventory systems and basic computer skills
Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks

Work Environment

Full-time position in Naperville, IL
Day shift (with possible overtime based on business needs)
Manufacturing and warehouse environment that may involve exposure to noise, moving equipment, and repetitive motions
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required
